Happy Halloween

We hope everybody had a great halloween. Since we couldn't come to your houses to show off our cute little baby in her costume, we decided to post a picture. She was a pretty cute ladybug. We only have about 20 trick or treaters tonight so we just basically relaxed all night. We can't complain about a night of relaxation though!

Here is also a video we made the other day of a new game Nyah has found where she drops the bottle and then looks at Ryan to pick it up. Boy does she have him figured out! She has him wrapped around her little finger! :)

Trip to Idaho Then Another Marathon and Boston - Fun Times!

We had a trip to Idaho to see the latest addition to the Pincock family - cute, little Hallie. It was so fun to meet her finally and we can't wait to visit again at Thanksgiving. I thought this picture was cute of them really checking each other out. Here is Mom cuddled up with Nyah. Lisa, I promise Hallie will sleep someday too... :)

Well last weekend was a big weekend. We all headed to Boston and with all of the craziness, we didn't get to our hotel until about 3:00 a.m. Nothing like running a marathon on a couple of hours of sleep. :) That's okay - it makes for great memories. If anybody wants to hear a funny story, you should ask Aaron how he managed to keep his cell phone charged with only a car charger while he was stuck in the airport for 8 hours. Ingenious. As you can see, Nyah prefers the "beardless" Aaron. :)

The marathon went great. The scenery was wonderful, the weather was perfect, and the company was excellent. I'm glad to have a new set of great memories from a marathon. Thanks Aaron and Jana. Erin cheered us on throughout the race and took great care of Nyah. I'm glad Nyah wasn't too tough on her. We did miss the rest of our "fans" though. Nyah was a trooper the whole trip and she's now been to six states (we don't count layovers although we should count Minnesota since we unexpectedly spent the night there...) Not bad for 7 months old.

After the marathon we had a couple of packed days in Boston and it was so much fun. Aaron pushed Nyah in the stroller nearly the whole time in Boston. I think he was kind of grateful for the extra "support".

It was fun to reminisce about our last trip back East as kids as well. Jana doesn't remember much but we filled her in. We even took a trip to McDonalds for old times' sake. Jana even saw the ocean for the first time (the she can remember). The closest we've still been to the USS Constitution is standing outside. Did we go there on a Monday last time too while they were cleaning? There is also a "duck" tour you can take now so we checked that out so here is a picture of us with our vehicle that can go on land or water. We even hiked to the top of the Bunker Hill Monument -yes all 294 stairs. I was glad I had the wrap to carry Nyah because I wouldn't have survived the arm workout. I did tell Nyah that next time we are there (I'm sure it will be a while), she's on her own. I don't remember seeing so many Dunkin' Donuts stores last time. The guy on the duck tour said there were 91 in downtown Boston and I wouldn't be surprised. It was crazy.

I'm so glad we had the chance to go on this trip. Aaron - thanks for all of the planning. I'll try to do just as well for Mexico.

Bananas!

Nyah had bananas for her first time on Monday. Last time I fed her rice cereal she wanted the spoon so Mom suggested that I let her have a spoon and use my own. Well, sure enough the first bite of bananas she took over "my spoon" so I got out a different one. When I went to give her a bite with the new spoon, she tossed hers on the floor and "dove" for the new one. It was hilarious. As you can see in the picture, she ended up with both spoons. She likes bananas but she might like the spoons even more. :)

Here is another jumping picture. I know Mom doesn't like headbands but I decided to post the picture anyway because she looks so cute! (Mom I promise it doesn't squeeze her head and it isn't "scratchy"). She goes crazy in the jumper these days so she's really fun to watch.

All is well here in the Lisby home and I can't wait to get to Idaho so Nyah can meet her little cousin, Hallie. :)

An Amazing Six Months!

I can't believe it's been six months since Nyah was born and started blessing our lives. We love her so much. Ryan said the other day that her first words might be "I love you" because she hears them so much! She gets a lot of kisses and gives us lots of smiles. We love having her in our home!

So we've had a busy month with the Pocatello Marathon and the Top of Utah Marathon in Logan. I want to tell everyone how much I appreciate your support. Ryan isn't in the pictures but did a great job decorating my car as you can see. It makes running so much more fun to have all of your support! It's great to have Jana for a running partner and I really miss having her around for training. She pushes me to do better (and not just in running) :) Aaron's grateful that we didn't run with him in the Pocatello marathon...

Everything else is about the same. Ryan is really enjoying his job and is having a lot of opportunities to learn new things. My job is really busy right now but that's how I like it.

Every day I remind Nyah to tell her cousin to come so they can play. We're getting very excited for "baby Hill" to be born! It sounds like it could be any time now. I told Dad tonight that it's Mom's job to keep all of us updated on the progress. Lisa and Jordan will have other things to be focusing on. :)

New Experiences

There is an annual hot air balloon festival by our house so before church this morning we went to check it out. I had seen them on Saturday morning while I was running but when we went after my run, they had all gone down.

A couple of days ago we took this video of Nyah in the jumper. She is getting the hang of it and continues to improve each day. She was jumping today while I was trying to edit this video and I thought I should just create a new video because her jumping skills are already improving. Nyah has also found her "voice". She loves all of the fun sounds she can make. This evening, she was in the jumper downstairs and Ryan was watching TV. Every time Ryan turned the TV up to hear over her, she got louder. It was pretty funny.

Tonight at dinner she was very interested in our corn on the cob so Valerie put an ear over by her and Nyah grabbed it on each end and started going to town. She just chewed on the part that had already been eaten but it was fun to watch.
