I love jumpers and Ryker definitely loved jumping in the jumper as well. He would just jump, and jump, and jump, and jump. He jumped in circles and any way possible. He spent many a happy hour in the jumper. It cracked me up to see he had actually fallen asleep one day he had jumped so much. Ryan wondered if it was abuse but I don't think so. :) Look at this face. It looks like he's traumatized at all.

Halloween 2010
Halloween is definitely more fun for me now that we have kids. I'm definitely not the creative, let's design an original costume kind of person though. I want to walk into a store, look at the options, and pick one out. :) Creativity with this kind of thing has never been my strong suit.... Nyah chose Minnie Mouse and Ryker was a dragon.
I'm sure all kids do this but as soon as a holiday passes, Nyah starts asking me how much longer until it's that holiday again. From today, 183 more days until Halloween.
What a sweet little girl.
Miss Gail and Nyah (her teacher when she was one).
Miss Jo, Miss Diane and Nyah (her teachers at the time)
AK, Ryker, Miss Vee and Nyah (Ryker's teacher at the time)
Nyah and Miss Alicia (another one of her teachers at the time)
Ryker and Miss Savannah (one of Ryker's teachers)
Cute boy...
Wow, we tried to take pictures for a long time. Getting these two kids to look in the same direction and smile takes close to a miracle.
Now you can see it really is a dragon costume and not a frog
One of the many attempts...
We finally settled on this one.

Ragnar - October 2010
We decided to go watch Ryan run in the Ragnar in Las Vegas. Both of us running doesn't work so great - especially with two kids now since the race lasts over 24 hours. Ryan ran in it this time and had a great time. The kids went and we watched him run. You won't see Ryker in very many pictures because he just hung out in the car most of the time sleeping. It was a good time though.
We enjoyed watching them run and were grateful to have the GPS to help us find our way to the different exchange points. They did a great job and of the races we have participated in, it was the fastest time yet. I'm sure the participants would agree the races are exhausting but there are always lots of memories! A few of the memories from the trip would be watching the race itself, watching Jabbawockeez, spending some time on the Strip, them locking the keys in the race van, the zip line by the hotel, renting a hotel without stairs (and being sad Ryan was running as I took trip after trip to our room), some great weather, and lots of driving.

Nyah striking a pose :) She was a great sport considering we spent a lot of time in the car.
At this exchange they had just locked the keys in the race van so we were excited to be there in time for Aaron's arrival!
Nyah waiting for a high five from her daddy.
Jana checking out her time.
Aaron getting support from some teammates during his run.
Ryan's turn for some support
Nyah loved playing with the flag under Uncle Aaron's supervision.
Jana getting water from Ryan
Jana running in at the end - she doesn't even look tired. :)
The team - Idaho Couch Potatoes
Nyah smiling and the evidence of what she had been up to...
Sleepy girl - it was a busy trip.
Ryker on the other hand was still wide awake. Probably because he spent so much time sleeping in the car.

Visit from Great-Grandparents
So in October we had a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Lisby, Grandma and Grandpa Blanken and Dale and Kathy. It was great to visit with them and have them in our home. Here are a couple of pictures. Thanks for coming and creating memories with us for a weekend. :)

Sweet Kiddos - September 2010
Here are some pictures of the kids (clear back in September). Nyah adores her little brother and she is a fantastic big sister. Ryker loves Nyah and is always watching to see what she is doing. It's amazing to look back at these pictures and see how much different they are six months later.
Love these kiddos!

So this picture and the next show how exciting it is trying to get both of them to look at us and smile. :) Nyah is looking at the camera with a big smile....
And now Ryker is looking with a smile!
