Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

This year I decided to buy an annual membership to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo instead of the Denver Zoo just to mix it up a little.  We went the first time in July.  I took Nyah and Ryker and headed off.  It was bright and sunny, but I didn't check the weather (not my best plan).  By the time we got to Colorado Springs, it was already sprinkling, but I was determined to go to the zoo after making the rather long drive down there...  The weather did improve though and we got in some good time at the zoo before it started to rain again. :) I love the giraffe exhibit where Nyah can feed them, but I haven't decided where I'll buy a membership next year.  I do know that Nyah loves any zoo.

She fed this giraffe three crackers in about three seconds - no waiting required.

You're such a good mom to take the kids to the zoo by yourself. I'm glad the weather improved for you a bit. Nyah does love the zoo. How fun!

Cute pictures of Nyah! She does seem to be thoroughly enjoying herself. Hallie's mom is not quite as nice as Nyah's mom. I think she has only been to the zoo once in her life. Next time we are in Denver, make us go to the zoo would you please? I don't know why that activity always gets the boot, I am going to go ahead and blame it on Jordan since he is not present to defend himself.
